Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all contracts for domain registration and web hosting between cloud.consult e.U. (“provider”) and the customer.

2. Contract

The website is not a binding offer. The contract is concluded on receipt of payment. Domains are ordered from the registrar only after payment and subject to availability at that time; if no longer available, the amount is refunded.

3. Domains

The terms of the respective registry (e.g. nic.at, DENIC, ICANN policies) apply in addition. The customer is the registrant and responsible for correct registrant data. No right of withdrawal applies to domain registrations as the service is fully performed immediately at the customer’s request; the customer expressly agrees.

4. Term and renewal

Domains and hosting run for one year and renew automatically for a further year unless cancelled in the customer portal 14 days before expiry. The renewal price is shown at order time; registry price changes are announced 30 days in advance.

5. Hosting

The provider supplies storage, e-mail and a control panel (Plesk). Availability 99.5 % per year excluding announced maintenance. Illegal content, spam, crypto mining and attacks on third parties are prohibited and may lead to suspension. Customers are responsible for their own backups unless the plan includes backups.

6. Payment

Prices net plus statutory VAT, payable yearly in advance via Stripe. Services may be suspended after reminder in case of default.

7. Liability

The provider is liable for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence liability is limited to the annual fee of the affected contract; no liability for lost profit or consequential damages. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Final provisions

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. Place of jurisdiction for businesses is Linz.
